She is survived by : her husband Francesco (Franco); her children, Assunta Barone (Antonio), Lisa Carmela Morris (Timothy), Francesca Ciliberto and Gregorio Ciliberto; her grandchildren, Tesori, Enrico, Michele, Salvatore, Valentina, Christian, Angelina, Sienna and Regina; and her siblings, Francesca, Angela, Rita, Pasquale and Gina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. Six years ago this week I experienced this pain with my own mother, Kay. While I never met Silvia, I have no doubt that she left her children with beautiful memories (Anthony always had amazing things to say about her).
