He was predeceased by : his father Walter Waters, Jr.; his grandparents, Eugene, Genevieve Chatman (Daugherty), Walter and Jeannette Waters, Sr. (Brown); and his great-nephew Jordan Martin.

He is survived by : his siblings, David Waters of Pittsburgh and Dianne Waters; his nieces and nephews, Tori Bennett, April Martin (Owen) and Emily Bennett; his sister Debbie Waters; and his nieces, Summer and Bunny Vaught.
