He was predeceased by: his parents, John Uhernik and Mary Uhernik of Ambridge. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Homjak); his children, Marla Uhernik and Joshua Uhernik (Nicolette); his grandchildren, Mariah, Gabriella and Sebastian; his daughter Leah Uhernik (Neil Kimbler); his siblings, Joyce Kurzawski and James Uhernik (Jacqueline); and his nieces and nephews, Philip Swaney, Lindsay Bowers (Homjak) and Maddison Anderson.
