She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. and Mary J. Hartman (Emore). She is survived by: her husband Herbert H. Burkhart; her sons, Brian Rutkowski (Ginger) and Scott Rutkowski (Cindy); her stepchildren, Michael Burkhart (Pam) and Brenda McAuley (Sal); and her brother Joe Hartman. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory (144 N Spruce St, Birdsboro, PA 19508). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
