Barbara Jean Bono Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Barbara Jean Bono of Apollo, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Parlett and Margaret M. Parlett (Rinaldi); and her husband Peter Ralph Bono. She is survived by: her children, Patrick J. Bono (Rebecca) of Kiski Township and Rita A. Kastner (Dan) of Pine Township; her grandchildren, Josh (Samantha), Katie (Derek), Luke and Alex; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Emorie, Elma Mae, Kinsley and Colt; and her sister Florence M. "Cookie" Grolemund of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by cousins, many other family members, and many new friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (429 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church (303 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690).
