With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cheryl A. (Young) McCorkle (Apollo, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Cheryl A. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cheryl A. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald B. Young, Sr. and Catherine Louise Young (Bowser); her son Stephen Lee Young; and her brother Timothy J. Young. She is survived by: her children, Rheannon McCorkle (Kim Francis) of Fairview, NC and Christopher McCorkle (Candice) of Somerset, PA; her grandchildren, Haileigh, Aubrey and Christopher McCorkle; and her brother Donald B. "Butch" Young, Jr. of Arnold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
