Daniel P. Schirato Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025, at the age of 71, Daniel P. Schirato Sr. of Apollo, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel P. Schirato Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelo "Ski" Schirato and Marian J. Schirato (Durand); his son Eric Chierici; his brother-in-law Tom Ralph; and his mother-in-law LaRue Mumaw.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Schirato (Colleen), Marco Schirato (Gina), Steve Harkleroad (Tiffany), Dana Schirato and Tara Fraser (Ricky); his siblings, Jeffrey Schirato (Kim), Brian Schirato (Cathy) and Kim Bash (Danny); and his grandchildren, Darius, Zoë, Lynden, Kaleb, Greenlee, Macie, Jackson, Landon and Isla. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Daniel's memory to the Apollo-Spring Church Sportsman Club, a local food bank, or an animal shelter of one's choice.
