Franklin Faber Obituary
Franklin Delano ?Frank? Faber of Mechanicsville, Maryland died Monday, July 25, 2005 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. He was 64 years old. Born September 18, 1940 in Apollo, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Mathias Joseph and Wilma Harriet Jenkins Faber. He served in the U. S. Navy until he was Honorably Discharged in 1966.
He worked for the Department of Defense at Fort Belvoir as a Computer Analyst. Upon his retirement, Mr. Faber became a Real Estate Agent and worked with O?Brien Realty in Charlotte Hall, MD and was a member of the Southern Maryland Board of Realtors in Hughesville, MD. He enjoyed fishing and being a number one ?Pop Pop?. In addition to his parents, Mr. Faber is preceded in death by his granddaughter Courtney; sisters Mary Ann Scott and Margey Bartel; brothers John and Gilbert Faber.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Jeanette M. Faber; daughters Tina Jernigan and her husband Glenn of La Plata, MD and Melody Harvey of Buffalo, NY; brother Ernie Faber; grandchildren Katie, Brittany, Matthew, Nathan, Robert Jr. and Destiny; great grandfather of Conner; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family received friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 from 6-8PM and on Thursday, July 27, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, MD where Funeral Services were held on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11AM with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, MD.
