June leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. June’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew June will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Alston and Hallie Alston (Watkins); her husband Willie J. Brown; and her brothers, Harry and Robert Alston.
She is survived by: her children, Willie J. Brown, Jr. (Tammy) of Washington Township, Charles E. Brown, Sr. (Cheryl) of Tampa Bay, FL and Steven C. Brown, Sr. (Angela) of Vandergrift. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (1147 Johnson St, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
