Larry L. Stiffy Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, at the age of 81, Larry L. Stiffy Sr. of Apollo, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Larry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Larry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Anna Held. He is survived by: his wife Janie Stiffy (Held) of Apollo; and his children, Tracie L. Bloom (Joel Zimmerman) of Apollo, Tammie M. White (Kevin) of Apollo, Ashley M. Stiffy (Jarred Kier) of North Apollo and Larry L. Stiffy, Jr. of Apollo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to the American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
