He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Anthony McCarthy and Evelyn Jane McCarthy; and his brother Gary McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. McCarthy; his children, Robert B. McCarthy (Maureen E. Birmingham), Tina Marie Homa, Tracie Lynn Sisk (Jeffrey) and Brenda Lee Howard (Leroy); his grandchildren, Justin, Corey, Timothy, Anastasha, Katerina, Celine, Gabby, Danny, Anthony and Joey; and his great grandchild Parker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jobe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (445 Beatty Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
