She was predeceased by: her parents, Veryl Townsend, Sr. and Dorothy Townsend (Callen); and her siblings, Patricia E. Townsend and Veryl Townsend, Jr. (Sandi). She is survived by: her husband James H. Gregg; her children, Danielle C. Beard (Rich) of Export and Jeff J. Gregg (Carrie) of Apollo; her grandchildren, Kristen Beard (Ryan LaBovick), Ryan Beard (Jessica Fatigati), Logan Bianco and Mario Gregg; and her siblings, Colleen Dunmire of Apollo, Cindy Townsend of Apollo and Les Townsend (Andrea) of Warren, OH. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandi's name to the Family Hospice Inpatient Unit, 310 Fisk St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
