She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Jr. Bruner and Rose Beer Bruner; her husband Clyde Johnson; her sister Deborah Banks; her sister-in-law Christine Bruner; and her niece Jessica Bruner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Perry Bruner of Tennessee, Randy Bruner (Terri) of Indiana, Thomas Bruner III of North Carolina, Keith Bruner (Susan) of North Carolina, Dennis Bruner (Kathleen) of Lucerne, Jeffrey Bruner (Shannon) of New Kensington and Crystal Bruner Scott (Randy) of North Apollo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
