She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Smith; her parents, Joseph Janinek and Mary Podrasky Janinek; her siblings, Agnes Janinek, Marie Homentosky and Joseph Janinek; her nephew Edward Homentosky; and her great-nephew Jake Batzel.
She is survived by: her goddaughters, Jill Palmer Doherty, Lisa Janinek Emmett and Lenore Simeone.
