He was predeceased by: his brother Hiram Calhoun. He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his children, Tammy Hubbard (Larry) of Union Springs, NY, April Santiago of Arnot, Roxanne Rollins (Roger) of Chewelah, WA, Micheal Calhoun (Tammy) of Star, Patricia (Rich Flock) of Malcolm and Misty Mays (Lance) of Fountain, Colorado.; and his brother Dr. Arthur Calhoun. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
