David J. Boppel Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2025, at the age of 75, David J. Boppel Sr. of Ashland, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David J. Boppel Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to David's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maryellen Boppel (Leibig) and John Boppel; his wife Joanne M. Boppel; his brother John Boppel; and his children, David Boppel Jr. and Amy Lynn Boppel. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ (2400 Centre St, Ashland, PA 17921). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
