He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Sweeney and Carol Sweeney (Fegley). He is survived by: his daughters, Kim (Eric Seckman) and Angie (Jeff Myers); his siblings, LeeAnn (Nick Interdonato), Tim Sweeney (Monica) and Dennis Sweeney (Samantha); and his former wife JoAnn Shuey Sweeney.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home (1323 Centre St, Ashland, PA 17921). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
