He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter M. Cherapan and Mary Cherapan (Krolick); his son Peter J. Cherapan Jr.; and his sisters, Donna Stephenson (Cherapan) and Tina Eisenhart (Cherapan).
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Cherapan (Butler); his daughter Ashley Cherapan; his stepchildren, Jodi Verdensky, Jolene Renninger (Corey), Saint Clair, John Verdensky (Amanda) and Cory Verdensky (Steph); and his pet Harley. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, Many good friends.
The family requests attendees dress casually, and that memorials be made to the Hillside S.P.C.A., 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
