It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard C. Wetzel of Ashland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wetzel and Evelyn Wetzel (Roseman). He is survived by: his wife Holly Wetzel (Humes) of Ashland; his children, Richard Wetzel (Sharyn), Susan Burns (Patrick), Elizabeth Grow (Michael) and Amy Doolan (Keith) of Salem, VA; and his grandchildren, Cameron Gantz, Tyler Gantz, Andrew Gantz, Mya Wetzel, Maddy Wetzel, Noah Grow, Parker Doolan and Maudie Doolan.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home (403 W Main St, Girardville, PA 17935). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
