He is survived by: his wife Sally Gotshall Bowersox; his daughters, Susan Gotshall McCauslin (Brian) of Biglerville, PA and Karen Gotshall Shafer (Kenneth) of Arendtsville, PA; his granddaughters, Kassandra Shafer of Arendtsville, PA and Marlaina McCauslin Parks (Tico) of Clinton Township, MI; his great grandchild Diana Parks; and his stepgrandchildren, Dana Crum, Danielle Martin and Dan Shafer (Ashley).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (25 W High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
