He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Hopkinson; his stepchildren, Michael J. Miller, Linda Ryan (Brendan) and Barbara Miller; and his parents, Claire Darrigo and Mervin Hopkinson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lauren and Kevin Ryan; and his siblings, Carol Lenhart, Gary Hopkinson (Fela) and Debbie Stuckman (James). He is also survived by uncle to his many nieces and nephews, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews.
