Benjamin Flounders Bigelow Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Flounders Bigelow of Aston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Kayla, Colin and Caroline; his former wife Kate Bigelow Shields; his parents, Debbie Crawford (Kent) and Rick Bigelow (Bern); his close friend Elizabeth Hagovsky; his siblings, Holly, Lindsey Kowalski (Mike), Alisa Lo Castro (Frank) and Bob (Darra); his stepchildren, Becca and Tyler Engberg (Monica Bigelow); his nieces and nephews, Norah, Laurel, Miri, Nathan, Adalie, Austin, Lucas, Olivia, Nolan, Kolbie and Patrick; and also Lillian Salisbury.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home (5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA 19014). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Dorothy Catholic Church (4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salvation Army in Chester (https://give.salvationarmy.org) (151 West 15th Street West, Chester, PA 19013 ' 610-874-0423) a place Ben enjoyed visiting and bringing bags full of his famous PB&Js.
