He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Somers, Sr. and Helen Eleanor Harron; and his wife Kathleen M. Somers (Abbott). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Somers-Cook (John Celona) and Edward Somers (Suzanne); his close friend Shirley Cornwell; his grandchildren, Amanda Paul (Kevin), Maria Jeffkin (Nicholas), Megan Somers, Michaela Somers and John Celona (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Logan Paul, Aiden Paul and William Celona.
