He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carpenter and Anna Carpenter. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Anderson; his children, John, Jr. Carpenter (Karen) and Tracy White (James, Jr.); and his sister Anna Marge (Emidio). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
