He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. and Mary E. Fitzsimmons; and his brother Lawrence J. Fitzsimmons, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Denise Fitzsimmons and Glenn Fitzsimmons (Gwen); and his siblings' children, Kristin Fitzsimmons, Michele Fitzsimmons Decker, Andy Cotton, Tara and Shawn McKee.
