He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard F. Hesse and Irene Ward Hesse; and his sister Judith Hesse. He is survived by: his wife Maria Luzak Hesse; his children, Richard W. Hesse (Dawn) and Laura A. Hesse; and his grandchildren, Layla and Lucus Hesse.
