He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul VanDyke and Laura Loretta VanDyke (Hoose); his siblings, Ronald, Wayne VanDyke and Virginia "Gin" VanDyke; his nephew Ryan VanDyke; and his brother-in-law Richard Barber.
He is survived by: his significant other Tara; his children, Taylor Nichols, Mackenzie Maslyar (Chris), Misty Morris, Heather Moore, Jessica Gibson, Tristian Nichols, Thomas Wheeler (Forest), Brandon Moore and Josh Moore (Angel); his siblings, Thomas VanDyke and Cindy Barber (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Mary VanDyke and Nancy Wood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in Dean's name to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St., Athens, PA 18810 to help offset the funeral expenses.
