He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Howe and Rita Howe (Cogan). He is survived by : his wife Donna Howe; his children, Pauline Bender, Rachel Morrisey (Jimmy), Patrick (Barb Hebbard), Matthew Howe (Janel) and Christine Capell; and his siblings, Frank Howe, Katie Howe, Dolores and Sandy Rems. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family would appreciate any donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in John's name.
