We announce the death of Marcella Jean Brown of Athens, Pennsylvania, born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 96. Marcella will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Russell and Celestia Russell; her siblings, Raymond Russell, Shirley Griswold and Joyce Turnipseed; and her children, Paula Louise and Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Norman W. Brown; and her sons, Duncan Brown (Gigi) and Michael Brown (Fabiola). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
