She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward, Sr. Wright and Lucy Wright (Kellogg); her former husband John P. Murphy; her sister Gladys Wright (Edward Wright, Jr.); and her siblings-in-law, Grace Wright, Mabel Murphy, Jean Murphy, Maurice Murphy, Paul Murphy and Paul Hurley.
She is survived by: her husband Dairy Farm; her children, Christine Vough and Mike Murphy; her grandsons, Jon Vough and Ben (Elania Vough); her sister Geraldine Hurley; and her siblings-in-law, Robert and Barb Murphy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (225 S Main St, Athens, PA 18810). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (304 S Elmer Ave, Sayre, PA 18840).
