She is survived by: her close friends, Carol Merrill and Charlotte Tappan; her children, Allan L. Gowan (Mary) and Kristen Roush; and her sisters, Sigrun Sigurgeirsdottir, Kolbrun Anna Sigurgeirsdottir and Inga Salsgiver. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many more nieces, nephews.
