Allen F. Herring Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen F. Herring (Auburn, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allen F. Herring to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen J. Herring and Martha E. Jamison Herring; his son Dean Herring; and his siblings, Delton Herring, Sterling Herring, Roma Herring, Fern Roeder and Josephine Kosack Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Neidlinger Herring; his sons, Wayne (Debbie Herring) of Pottsville and Mark (Yvonne Herring) of New Ringgold; his grandchildren, Wayne Herring Jr., Allen (Mary), Linda Pikulin, Laura Lee Hughes, Leslie Herring, Christopher Herring, Michael Herring, Leanne Kemmerling and Joshua Herring (Casey Herring); and his siblings, Dennis Herring of Cressona, Ardith Moyer of Schuylkill Haven, Lucille Reichert of Pine Grove, Reba Taylor of Harrisburg and Janice Arnold of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (1235 Summer Hill Rd, Auburn, PA 17922). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Joseph Center for.
