Bonnie R. Mates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie R. Mates of Auburn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie R. Mates to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Fessler (Echternacht) and Henry C. Fessler; her husband Edward L. Mates; her siblings, Pearl Leitzel, Charles and Carl Fessler; and her son-in-law Thomas Corondi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Berger (Kevin) of Auburn and Stacey Corondi of Auburn; her grandchildren, Lauren Yelinek (Paul), Kevin Berger (Amanda), Evan Corondi (Alissa) and Avery Corondi (Derek); her great grandchildren, Cole, Carson Yelinek and Clara Berger; and her siblings, Lee Fessler (Marlene) and Connie Reinhart (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar St. John's Church (200 Pearson St, Auburn, PA 17922). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
