He was predeceased by: his parents, George Byelick and Jean Veglatte. He is survived by: his wife Alice Byelick; his siblings, Maryann (Butch Ames) and Michael (Diana Byelick); his daughter Laura Palatino; his grandson Christopher (Christine Byelick); and his stepchildren, Harry Janner, Robert Janner, Gordon Janner, David Janner, Cathleen Janner DeWitt, Shari-Jo Janner and Vickie (Don Farnsworth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
