She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry K. Rambo and Marion Rambo (Baldwin). She is survived by: her husband Philip L. Knerr; her children, Stephen (Jacqueline) of Limerick and Dawn Doherty (Jeff) of North Carolina; her brother Robert Rambo (Carol) of Audubon; her sister-in-law Paula Knerr of Shippensburg; and her grandchildren, Stevie, Savannah, Spencer and Hunter. She is also survived by her three nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (403 E Main St, Norristown, PA 19401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betsy's name can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.

“I had the joy of working with Betsy at SpringMill as a caregiver to her. She was my favorite resident. She always spoke about her family, and Phil mostly. Places they’ve traveled, adventures they’d taken. Phil showed up for Betsy every single day, spending all day with her. I’ve never witnessed such love as I did seeing Betsy and Phil together. Phil and family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I think about Betsy so often still, and will forever remember her. With love, Camryn”
