He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Howat (McMinds) and Frederick M. Howat; and his former wife Dolores. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Mary Kathryn Keuch (Randy), William F. Howat Jr. (Karen), Christopher M. Howat, Jane H. Watson (John) and Elizabeth J. Hatchard (George); and his stepchildren, Mary Beth Opat and John Piatti. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
