He was predeceased by: his parents, Melburn Jeffers and Vernice Jeffers (Knapp). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Friendel; his children, Mark W. Jeffers (Kathy) of Austin, Michele L. Gledhill (Al) of Austin and Thomas L. Jeffers (Julie) of Austin; his sister Nila Mericle of Eden, NC; his grandchildren, Kevin Gledhill, Angela Jacobs, Kristopher Gledhill, Kyle Gledhill, Sarah Stafford, Zachery Jeffers, Daniel Taylor, Rachel Thurman and Katelyn Ditzler; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Gledhill, Rylee Gledhill, Kohen Stafford, Deakin Stafford, Zeke Ditzler and Phoebe Thurman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
