He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Otis Simons and Elizabeth Gwendolyn Miller Simons; his wife Melissa Rose Wales; his children, Travis Simons (Jen) of Jacksonville, FL, Sabrina Simons (Jake Colvin) of Salem, VA and Fred Simons Jr. (Theresa) of Triadelphia, WV; his grandchildren, Andrew, Phenix, Ellie, Abby and Patsy Ann; and his siblings, Sondra Wright (late Wayne) of Columbus, OH, Ronald Simons (Vicki) of Washington, PA, Donald Simons (Judy) of Tucson, AZ, Alfred Simons (Carla) of Avella, PA, Ray O. Simons Jr., Charles D. Simons, Joseph D. Simons Sr. and Thomas N. Simons. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
