He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Amos and Mildred Irene Piatt (Hollaway) of Arden; his siblings, Sandra Piatt, Edward Piatt, Donna Williams (Piatt) and Dennis Piatt; and his son Benjamin Andrew Scott Piatt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Piatt (Nolan); his sons, Daniel Piatt (Kayla) of Washington and Anthony Piatt (Marcy) of Avella; and his grandchildren, Mason, Benjamin, Connor, Zayne, Lincoln and Amelia Piatt.
