We announce the death of Mary Lou Blasini of Avella, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Mary Lou will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roy and Mary Graham Roy; her husband Edward Albert Blasini; her daughter Maureen Carroll; and her sisters, Joan Desmond, Georgianna Barker and Dolores Malloy.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Blasini (Dee) of Hillard, OH and Mary Ellen Macfarlane (Chris) of Transfer, PA; her grandchildren, Morgan Gill (Ryan), Brad Blasini, Ryan Carroll (Brandi) and Kelsey Carroll; her great grandchildren, Lydia Gill, Joshua Gill, Grace Gill and Cillian Carroll; and her sister Roberta Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to, Avella Volunteer Fire Department, Bridgeville Rehabilitation & Care Center or Affinity care of Pittsburgh.
