Karen Shields Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Shields of Avis, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie McCloskey and Mary McCloskey (Baker); her husband Larry E. Shields; her grandson Austin Barnhart; and her siblings, Ethel Soo and Larry McCloskey.
She is survived by: her daughter Holly Hoffman (Jeffrey Hoffman) of Lamar; her stepchildren, Robyn Campana (Stephen Campana) of Richmond, VA and Derrick Shields of Woolrich; her brother Kenneth McCloskey (Barby McCloskey) of Orlando, FL; and her grandchildren, Lauren Barnhart, Brian Barnhart Jr., Cody Shields, Dylan Shields and Alyssa Campana. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
