Donald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Donald will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Uncapher and Helen Uncapher; his wife LaRue H. Uncapher; his sons, R. Courtney Riffer (Sharon) of East Vandergrift and Brian Riffer of Savannah, Georgia; his grandson Jacob Riffer; his siblings, Dennis Uncapher of Adams Township, Bronwyn Pityk (Dan) of Leechburg and Tracy Uncapher (Annie) of Russellton; his sister-in-law Laura Uncapher of Apollo; and his brother Gary Uncapher. He was also cherished by friends, and animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Don's memory consider making a donation to "The Poor Don Foundation". Contributions can be directed to Champion's Crusaders Rescue, 2687 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690, an organization close to Don's heart that shares his love and compassion for animals.
