He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Fry and Naomi Fry (Penvose); his father-in-law LeRoy (Irene Moon); and his daughter-in-law Chrystal Gamble Fry. He is survived by : his wife Diane Moon Fry of Avonmore; his sons, Mathew James Fry of New Kensington and Michael David Fry of Vandergrift; his granddaughters, Priscilla and Penelope Fry; and his siblings, Terry Penvose (Cindy) of Olanta, Rick Fry of New Kensington, David Fry (Eveann) of Leechburg and Debra Hartung (Neal) of New Kensington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
