She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Schroeter and Teresa Berg Schroeter; her husband Vincent Uzupis; her daughter Carol Benedick (Uzupis); and her granddaughter Larissa Uzupis.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Uzupis, Sr. (Betty), Donna Uzupis and John Uzupis (Denise); her grandchildren, Steven Uzupis (Rita), Tamea Uzupis (Bill), Aidan Uzupis and Nolan Uzupis; and her great grandchildren, Anina and Emmet Uzupis.
In lieu of flowers, Josephine's family requests that memorial donations be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, 1020 W. State Street, Baden, PA 15005.
