He was predeceased by: his father John Lester Helm; his grandson Alexander Lawer; and his sister Fran. He is survived by: his mother Madeline E. Helm (Tierney) of Elizabethtown; his wife Patricia (Mallette); his children, Patrick Helm Jr. (Diana) of Lancaster, Jessica Lawer (Jeffrey) of Elizabethtown and Jason Helm (Mari) of Elizabethtown; and his siblings, Mike, Sue, Theresa, Tim, Madelyn and Steve.
