She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Caleb A. Kreider and Erma H. Kreider (Koser); and her sister Jean Mummau. She is survived by: her husband Kervin S. Hoffer; her children, Cindy Mylin (Jeff) of Lancaster, Cathy Erb (Shawn) of Ephrata, Jason Hoffer (Beth) of Hummelstown and Bryan Hoffer of Philadelphia; and her brother-in-law Clair Mummau of Mount Joy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to the benevolent fund of Chiques Church.
