As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas McMeekin; her children, Erin Keegan (Michael) and Shawn McMeekin (Alexia); and her grandchildren, Hayden, Logan Keegan, Charles and April McMeekin. She was also cherished by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation (5864 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to one of Helen's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Hospital.
