Harry I. Bates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry I. Bates of Bangor, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Bates (Bally) and Harry W. Bates; and his half-siblings, Bob Bates, James Wedlake, Dave Wedlake and Carol Bates.
He is survived by: his wife Heidi; his child Phaedra (Jerry); his grandchildren, Marie, Harry, Lucie, Cassandra Bates of Washington, DC and Alexander Bates (Jaclyn); his great grandchildren, Owen, Milo, Levi and Remy of St. Peters, MO; his granddaughter Cynthia BatesConrad; his sister Jeanne Malinowski (Steve); and his half-brother Jerry Wedlake (Jill). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special long-time friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (4 Lillian Ln, Bangor, PA 18013).
