It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Walters Sr. of Barnesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Paul leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Davies Walters and Gladys Moyer Walters of Mahanoy City. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Honus (John Honus) of Barnesville, Christy Senglar (Brian Senglar) of Barnesville and Paul Walters, Jr. (Irene Walters) of San Antonio; his sister Cheryl Mertz (Daniel Mertz) of Gilbertsville, PA; his niece Heather Lowe; his nephew Christopher Mertz; his sister-in-law Kathleen Kershetsky of Delano; and his stepgranddaughter Brianna Walters. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mahanoy City Public Library or the West End Fire and Rescue Co, Mahanoy City.
