Carl E. Wenner Obituary
The passing of Carl E. Wenner of Bastress, Pennsylvania occurred on October 7, 2026. Carl, born on September 13, 1936, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Wenner and Frances Wenner (Nau); his wife LuAnn Margaret (Bertin); his son Michael David Wenner; his brothers, Donald, Robert (Joanne) and Harold; his brother-in-law James Lorson; his nephew Craig Lorson; and his son-in-law James Scalleat.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wenner (Liz Zimmers), Lori Scalleat and Christopher Wenner (Amanda); his grandsons, Johnathan, Joshua and Jeremy; his siblings, Lorraine Lorson and Ronald Wenner (Joyce); and his in-laws, Margaret "Margie" Wenner, Ronald P. Bertin (Barb) and David Bertin (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (133 E 3rd St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the BVM Catholic Church (5973 Jacks Hollow Rd, Williamsport, PA 17702).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Carl's name be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to DCNR Keystone Tree Fund.
